    Tasting notes:
Inky garnet in colour with bright scarlet rim, the nose is fragrant and lifted, aromatic and instantly appealing, offering jammy raspberry, ripe plum, crème de cassis, clove and vanilla pod. Concentrated yet creamy, the palate delivers such ripe fruits as cassis and dried cherry wave after wave, complemented by liquorice, oaky vanilla and a mélange of winter spice. Supported by ample acidity and chunky tannin, this rounded, full-bodied wine is tightly knit with seething intensity and complexity. Talk about the very food-friendly Valpolicella, this thoroughly innovative blend is Bulgaria’s convincing reply.

    Serving Temperature:
    Ca. 17 degrees Celsius

    Food Pairing:
Richer cuts of red meat: beef (brisket and rump), pork (leg and belly), and lamb (breast and chump); hard cheese (Gloucester and Leicester); Cantonese siu mei (char siu, roasted pig, or roasted duck)
